Faith
I am a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. I am not overtly religious, though feel spiritual. Jesus taught and preached of His Father's Kingdom and how to live it and bring it to Earth* (on Earth as it is in Heaven). Tho, He was Jewish, Jesus did not direct us to any particular religion. He spoke of compassion, revelation, and understanding. Kingdom principles are many times contrary to what various religions promote. Jesus shared the wisdom and ways to being enlightened, to affect our situation, and aid those around us. These principles are not of mass control, power, nor wealth. Jesus said in following Him, your needs will be met. Your giving will be multiplied in abundance.
In today's rat race of 24 hour news cycles, pressure from personal, professional, and emotional sides, many are left with putting their 'faith' in themselves, friends, and even strangers via social media. This is the first basic mistake. The traps laid in this world are distracting, destructive, and many times deadly. Evil surrounds us every day. Race baiting, abortion deaths, monumental regulations, multiple tax changes designed to stifle America's strength and creativity, freely accessible pornography in everyday programming, normalizing sexual orientation and mainstreaming that brings darkness and misguided judgement into one's life. We embrace known enemies as they vow destruction and death to our citizens while shunning our allies and friends. And these barely scratch the surface of the entangled details and turmoil of everyone's daily life and routine. Personally, I've attended too many funerals of young people recently. I've marveled at the complaining on the nightly news and web about the current President (it's 2019 and Trump is president). I've paid attention that so-called Americans are defending and advocating open borders, voting rights in our elections for citizens of other countries, mandatory income for those not willing to work, acknowledging the sex of an individual simply because they "feel" like it. Is biology no longer being taught in school? I'm amazed that some Americans actually approve of killing babies once born and breathing on their own. (aren't they citizens then with normal rights?) Why isn't that murder? Could someone define infanticide for me that doesn't indicate killing... If Hell isn't trying to take over the mental state of the nation, I don't know what is.
Is there any doubt that we are under attack by forces bent on causing depression, indecision, reliance/dependence on others and/or the government for our well being, while being fed information specifically designed to divide us as a nation? Why are we surprised when past leaders embraced our enemies, shunned our friends and allies, and, at the same time, continued to seek to remove GOD from schools, government, and as a part of public decision making. If you think mankind can work this out by itself, perhaps you should watch the evening news for a couple nights, look at past civilizations' results, or perhaps on a whim, read your Bible. History is repeating itself. Are you listening?
How are we doing as a race... the Human race, that is? How are you doing as an individual? Trust me, we can do unbelievable things with His help. "Ask and ye shall receive". It's a quote, look it up. Better yet... https://www.gotquestions.org/ask-and-you-shall-receive.html . This provides a pretty good answer.
GOD has put forth a simple set of rules of decency, codes of conduct, and asks us to have faith in Him and he will share secrets of the universe and beyond... beyond our wildest imagination. HE gave us the Bible. It is simply a "human owner's manual" and history of past and future events written in the past. Those that ignore it do so at their own peril.
Could your personal daily conduct possibly have anything to do with the struggles in your life? By your action (or inaction), things said (or left unsaid), or your attitude for or against a set of circumstances have anything to do with your current situation? How you approach problems, how you communicate, and the attitude and character you project creates a reaction in your daily life and long-term possibilities. Yes, you create your circumstances by how you are act and the words you use and manner you use them.
